Adam is the Executive Director of Greenfeast. He is currently working on an Executive MBA from Cal State University and has a B.S. in Business in Supply Chain Management. Adam has been a supply chain professional for over 12 years and is also a US Army Veteran, having served overseas on deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2009-2010. During his time overseas he was inspired by all the men and women who were serving in the effort, making the sacrifice of leaving friends and loved ones to go help make a difference, so upon his return home he decided to continue pursuing a life of volunteerism and public service, to try and continue helping people in need.
He joined Greenfeast because he believed that helping to fight hunger was one of the noblest causes, and he was inspired by the organization's concentrated efforts to do so while striving to provide people with the healthiest food choices possible. He also gained an immediate admiration for the organization's efforts to provide individuals with the education and resources necessary to live a healthier lifestyle even on a low income, reduced budget or when living through rough circumstances. It was through his efforts that the property at 8658 S. Colfax in the South Chicago neighborhood was identified and procured so the charity could open our first food pantry there. Adam was able to get the owner to donate the use of the property to Greenfeast rent free for a 10 year lease and he has plegded to do whatever is within his abilities to make that be the first of many more to come city-wide.
